Amandla Stool

The Amandla Stool was designed in collaboration with Michelin Star chef and author Duncan Welgemoed, who founded Africola in Adelaide. Amandla translates to ‘strength and power’ in the Ngani languages of Southern Africa, a popular anti-apartheid rallying cry during Duncan’s childhood in Johannesburg.

The Amanadla Stool is a limited edition piece, with only 50 to be produced. Given this piece is hand made and woven in Adelaide, please allow a lead time of 10-12 weeks.

Materials: Powder-coated steel, Danish cord and ebonised oak

Dimensions: Width: 450mm, Height: 450, Depth: 350mm
